Evening Fantasy on a Persian Rug

I don't think I could ever adequately explain the meaning of this painting. The imagery arrived full fledged. It was probably inspired by watching my young daughter playing on a Persian rug one winter evening. We had been talking about a neighbor who lived in New York City.
