The Ascending Church
The Thetford Hill Church is the oldest church in continuous service in Vermont. While perhaps it is not the fanciest church in Vermont, it's bell tower is magnificently proportioned and the simple interior is most conducive to contemplation. It seems the quintessential New England Church and its very age lends great dignity to its presence.
This was my first project in the 3-D modeling program, Form Z. For me as an artist, the ability to create a building and see it from any angle and in every lighting situation proved to be a great asset in generating new ideas.
